MANAGEMENT
The Foundation is administratively supervised and managed by the Executive Secretary – a senior lawyer and a chartered administrator at the Nigerian Bar, who has handled the affairs of the Foundation from inception to date. Her functions fall under the umbrella of a CEO covering all the operational aspects of the Foundation. The Board of Trustees are specifically chosen to see to it that the aims and objectives are fully implemented and are described in the Constitution as:
THE ROLES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
- They shall formulate policy for the Foundation.
- To receive and consider feedback on the utilization of grants, scholarship etc., advance by the Foundation.
- To examine the merit and demerits of application for grants and to take appropriate on the applications.
Membership into the Foundation is open to every individual with philantropic aims to assist the community and instill a giving outlook generally in the society.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Alhaji Olaide Fowosire was born to the family of Pa Surakat Olufemi Fowosire (a.k.a Oga) and Alhaja Ariyalo (a.k.a Happy Mama) of Ijebu – Igbo in Akile Ijebu, Ogun State. His father was one of the earliest successful International Businessmen in Automobile Business in Europe, while his mother was a successful trader. Whilst still a youngstar, he lost his father to the cold hands of death in an accident during a business trip abroad, leaving the mother to do the parental upbringing alone.
He had both primary and secondary education in Ijebu-Igbo, His Alma Mater, Molusi College, Ijebu – Igbo was among the best of schools back then. He is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry from Ogun State Polytechnic (now Mashood Abiola Polytechnic).
A Graduate of AMP 11 of Lagos Business School where he was also the class President, he attended various Management courses both locally and overseas.
Upon completion of his National Youth Service Programme in Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State; He joined pyramid Group in 1987 as a graduate Trainee and rose to the post of a Branch Manager before he resigned to start his own business – Nucleus Ventures Limited in 1989.
His strategy-oriented nature and determination to be at the centre of whatever he is doing, informed the name NUCLEUS. And true to that name, he is ahead of everyone in the paper business in Nigeria today. He is also into Hospitality, Real Estate, Logistics, Mining and other businesses in the pipeline.
He is an avid philanthropist who during his youthful years has weathered a lot of challenges in life. Little wonder why he is able to identify with indigent youths, his empathy informed the setting up of LF Foundation.
A devout Muslim yet liberal with other religious beliefs, an apostle of “Live and Let Live”.

A legal practitioner and corporate governance professional, Mrs. Okewale is a 1986 alumna of the University of Ife and also of the Ogun State University 1990. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991.
Her experience in senior management level spans over eighteen (18) years. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (FCIS) as well as an Associate of the United Kingdom body (ACIS). She is also a certified Corporate Governance Auditor as well as ISO Management Systems compliant and a member of Institute of Directors (MIoD) in Nigeria. She is also a registered individual with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. Over the years, Mrs. Okewale has developed significant involvement in Corporate Commercial law, Acquisitions, loan facility management, Project Portfolios and in-depth Company Board Matters. She is knowledgeable in developing, designing, implementing, and managing the wider operational aspects covering Company Secretariat, the Board & related Legal Matters; she is equally competent on issues of Stakeholder Management, CSR policies & Corporate Governance. With years of acquired experience in administrative, managerial and project management skills, she also has sufficient working knowledge of specialized management functions, including finance, Human Resources, Operational administration, asset management and other related corporate matters . Mrs. Okewale runs her own Business and Legal Advisory Consulting Firm; proffering solutions in Legal & Business Advisory capacity to businesses across industries in Nigeria, providing legal support & initiatives, covering operational controls, administrative & reporting procedures, all aimed to grow efficiency and effectiveness with the aim of creating maximum value for her clientele. As a Corporate Governance Auditor and Evaluator, she often consults for company boards, accounting and law business firms in Lagos. A non executive director on several boards, she has developed significant understanding coupled with back ground experience in startups businesses, hospitality, real estate & property development

Mr. Salau has extensive experience advising clients on strategy development and implementation; general business advisory management; strategic change projects and developing IT strategy for clients both in Africa and Europe. His role in the two (2) firms includes setting out the vision and providing overall business management oversight. In addition, he is also responsible for business development; strategic client/account management; service delivery and development of performance improvement services for our clients.
Until 31 March 2017, Mr. Salau was the Advisory Leader for Ernst & Young West Africa and before then was the Leader for PwC Consulting business in West and East Africa spanning 12 Countries. Mr. Salau was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Performance Improvement Consulting in 2005, after which he became a partner and advisory leader with Ernst and Young in 2011. Since 2017, he has served as the founder and chief executive officer for his businesses.
The consulting firm specializes in business and organizational transformation, not only for corporate entities but also for government and nonprofit organizations. In this capacity, they assist businesses hoping to hone their strategies, transition to a digital platform, or implement processes that are more efficient.
Mrs. Sampson is a top-notch professional with over 25 years cognate experience. She is currently the Managing Director- Nucleus Ventures Limited.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as well as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
She holds an HND in Accounting & Finance from Yaba College of Technology and Msc. Finance from Lagos State University, Lagos. Prior to joining Nucleus Ventures Ltd in 2004; she was the Internal Auditor of Eko Tourist Beach Resort.
Mrs. Funmi Sampson is happily married and blessed with children.

- Ran an M. Tech. program in Technology Management and the Development of SMEs at the Centre for Technology Policy, Yaba, Lagos in 2020.
Work Experience
- Worked as an architect at Archi-Plancon Associates, Ilupeju, Lagos 1988-1994.
- Set up own company to manufacture precast concrete elements in 1993.
- Started with production of paving stones in 1990 and have gone on to manufacture and assemble precast concrete components for buildings.
- Currently working on automation of building construction.
- Tectonico also manufactures concrete elements for civil engineering works
- The practice of Architecture continues

Oyinkan Fowosire-Akangbe currently works as the Executive Assistant to the Group Managing Director of the Mainland Group. She previously led the Risk Management Unit at Lukefield Finance Ltd and worked in the financial services industry for over 5 years. She has previous experience in the Private Equity space where she was in charge of investment analysis spanning various industries including Tech, FinTech, Health and Retail sectors. She is passionate about sustainable business and infrastructure across the African continent.
